Student Services at Isleta Elementary School

Isleta Elementary School provides student services to meet the diverse needs of our growing students. Our student services staff address the overall well-being of students as they foster academic achievement, physical health, social-emotional health and cultural enrichment. Our learning environment meets the comprehensive educational and social needs of students and promote constant elevation, development and success.

Academic support throughout the learning process is a top priority at Isleta Elementary School. Students also receive support services to foster a holistic education that supports their mental, physical and spiritual growth. Our goal is to build every student’s social-emotional well-being as they progress through our learning environment. Regular counseling services are provided to any student that needs guidance from our specialists.

Student services also include physical fitness programs like basketball during after school team sports.  

After school tutoring services allow students to receive the aid that helps them keep pace with their classmates and grade level. Our student services are designed to make every student feel safe and welcome on our campus. Students can easily find assistance with any social issues, including bullying and intimidation prevention.

We have implemented a truancy department for school and student safety that collaborates with the local Social Services department. The campus also has an assigned School Resource Officer. Students may pursue personal interests, discover new talents and build community through student services.
