Athletics Programs at Isleta Elementary School
Playing sports is an excellent way for kids to stay healthy, gain confidence, learn teamwork, and develop essential life skills like discipline and resilience. We currently offer two sports: basketball for the winter and swimming for the summer.
Winter: Co-ed Basketball
Basketball is a sport that involves running, jumping and quick movements, making it an excellent way for kids to stay physically active and develop their overall fitness levels.
Summer: Swimming Classes
Summer swimming classes are available at the Isleta Recreation Center. Swimming is a fun way to stay active and improve cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and endurance while teaching essential water safety skills.

Our athletics program welcomes students of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels, providing opportunities for everyone to participate in a supportive community environment.
