Bus Rules and Regulations

Safety is paramount, and our transportation department complies with all relevant state and federal regulations.

  • Students must be in line while waiting for the school bus.
  • Bus drivers are only permitted to make alternative pick-up or drop-off changes with written requests from parents/guardians or the principal.
  • Eating, drinking, or bringing large or glass items on the bus is not allowed.

  • Inappropriate behavior on the bus may result in suspension from riding with reinstatement procedures determined by the school administrator.
  • Primary grade level students (grades K-3) will not be dropped off in the afternoon if no one is home; the bus driver will return them to the school and make phone contact with parents/guardians or emergency contacts.

Bus Breakdown

  • In the event of a breakdown with students on board, the second bus driver will complete their route before picking up the affected students.
  • Roadside assistance will be contacted, and parents/guardians will be notified promptly.
